- DESCRIPTION
- Septotryl II Injection is indicated for the treatment of systemic infections caused by or associated with organisms sensitive. To Trimethoprim: Sulphadiazine combination. The spectrum of activity includes both Gram positive and Gram negative. Organisms including Actinobacilli.
- INDICATIONS
- Infections sensitive to the combination of Trimethoprim and Sulfamethoxypyridazine in cattle and sheep. Treatment of respiratory, gastrointestinal and urinary infections caused by bacteria sensitive to Sulphamethoxypyridazine and trimethoprim.
- DOSAGE
- CATTLE-SHEEP
- Slow I.V. ,I.M. ,S.C. administration
- 13.4 mg sulphamethoxypyridazine and 2.7 mg trimethoprim per kg b.w. per day by slow I.V. or I.M. route,i.e.1 ml/15kg b.w.
- In cattle: -60 kg calves:4ml - adults : 30ml
- In sheep: -Lambs: 0.1ml/1.5kg b.w. -adults: 4ml
